Scholarships

Citizens Foundation offers four (4) scholarships to students pursuing a health care related career. Preference is given to applicants who plan to return to practice in a rural area after completion of their studies. Recipients must reside in northwest Kansas region, including residents of Cheyenne, Decatur, Norton, Sherman, Thomas, Sheridan, Wallace, Logan, Rawlins, and Gove counties. Recipients may be at any stage of their studies and attend the school of their choice.

Dr. Jeff Jennings Memorial Scholarship, $1,000

Citizens Medical Center Health Care Scholarship, $1,500

Dr. Floyd and Mary Smith Endowed Scholarship, $1,500

Leonard P. and Twila M. Harrison Endowed Scholarship, $2,000

Additional scholarship opportunities exist from the Board of Regents (nursing) and require one year of service with Citizens Health.
